QS Recruitment are now engaged in the second phase of a recruitment drive for HGV Class 1 drivers to work for Wincanton Logistics Construction division. Phase one saw the recruitment of ten class 1 drivers who are now in position and working for Wincanton based at the Saint-Gobain site in Stanton by Dale. Due to an increase in the size of their fleet they have a requirement for an additional ten drivers.

We rely on their ability to provide a high standard of HGV Driver, and it is this that we have come to reply upon. We are very confident they will deliver what we require during this recruitment campaign and we are always pleased with their high level of performance and customer service”
The current round of recruitment is taking place over the next two weeks and involves a telephone screening process then a face to face interview with one of the driving Consultants at QS. Those applicants who have a satisfactory interview are invited to attend a full driving assessment. Successful drivers attend a half day induction with Wincanton on-site, before commencing work.
QS Recruitment Northern Regional Director Brian Smith said “This is a great opportunity for drivers to gain consistent, well paid work with one of the country’s leading logistic businesses. The positions will suit drivers who want days and tramping work. Due to the nature of the work applicants need to have experience with flat-bed trailers with all goods being unloaded by crane or forklift truck. The successful applicants will be managed on a weekly basis by Wincanton Logistics. They will earn between £650 and £700 per week and will have the certainty of knowing where they are working in the medium to long term.
