Food Production operatives wanted!
We are looking for food production operatives to help our client with the running of their busy factory.
You will be dealing with fresh vegetables, you will either be, checking items, preparing items or bagging items.
Other duties will be:
– Using knives to prepare vegetables – chopping and slicing them evenly
– separating florets of broccoli/cauliflower
– removing the cores from peppers, ready for production.
– wash and preparing vegetables
– Loading them into bags
– Inspecting and sorting root crop vegetables to meet customer requirements.
You will be working in a chilled environment, ranging from 2-6 degrees, although the client allows you to wrap up warm you must be comfortable within these conditions.
Each applicant must have:
Working within or with food production
experience of working in a factory/warehouse within the last 6 months
Worked in chilled conditions (2 to 6 degrees).
