We are currently seeking experienced, reliable Van Drivers for a physically demanding role based in the Loughborough area. As part of this team, you’ll be responsible for the safe delivery of large appliances across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving: You will operate a 3.5-tonne low loader van, working alongside a second driver to share the driving duties and deliveries, making the workload more manageable.
Heavy Lifting: Using a shoulder dolly, you’ll help move and deliver large goods like cookers, fridge freezers, TVs, and other appliances. The shoulder dolly technique helps distribute the weight, making it easier to offload with assistance from a the second driver.
Customer Service: As a customer-facing role, you will be expected to deliver appliances directly into customers’ homes, providing a professional, courteous service at all times. Going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction is essential.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a driving role is required.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A professional, friendly attitude and strong work ethic.
