BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND SALES MANAGER.

Our great client based in the heart of Burton on Trent are seeking a vibrant, go-getter to support their incredible growth as a business development manager.

We are seeking a sales specialist to work in the fire door industry and help with the acquisition of new clients, the re-activation of previous clients, and the nurture of existing clients.

You will be responsible for telephone and face-to-face sales in within this niche industrial industry.

Your role will include (but not be limited to):

• Sales implementation
• Sales tracking
• Supporting with internal systems/booking placement
• Forecasting BD and sales month-to-month
• Generating targets
• Social media management
• Supporting with client set up
• Supporting with invoicing
• Supporting with credit control.

Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: In this role, your starting salary willl be £42,000. This is subject to increase through performance related bonus, or set KPI’s. The aim is to strive for a salary of £50,000 within the first 12 months.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, usual working hours are 08:00-17:00.

Experience & Qualifications

Applicants for this position need to have experience in sales management and business development, you will be required to provide some form of GP achieved or growth made in previous positions.

Applicants are required to have a full, clean driving licence, as field sales and visiting clients is crucial in this role.

We ask that applicants have sales and business development experience in a similar industrial sector, whether that be timber, fire doors, or merchants.

You must be trustworthy, happy with independent working, hard-working, self-motivating, and willing to push for the team.

You will also be a good communicator, work with all aspects of the team to ensure the smooth running of bookings and orders, whether that be work that you have bought on, or current clients.
